Our current system of education is broken. We are not focusing on that which will support our youth (or adults for that matter) to live lives of meaning. Engaged, pursuing passions and interests, and contributing to our humanity.
The structures, models, images, and practices of our system starting first with our federal system, down to the states, to the districts, to the schools does not support nor incentivize creative and innovative ways of engaging our youth that allows them to pursue their interests and passions, and to contribute to a better world. Chris’ focus is on doing what I can to point out (1) how broken the system is and (2) inspire and empower others to make it different through images and stories of possibility.
