For our next Communion gathering in March I have invited Jasper Mutsaerts, who is walking the pathless path through Europe, Central, and South America on his own quest for wisdom and inspiration as he builds his Soul Kitchen Brand. He will join us to collaborate on a discussion about the integration of Mind AND Heart.
As someone who grew up in a family that valued traditional education hierarchies and definitions of success, I spent many years investing in my mind and exploring its capabilities. It has only been in the last 5-7 years that I have begun to explore methods to discover unaccessed wisdom from the heart and body and the role each part can play to inform building an intentional life.
Through our next session we will unpack the influences that shape our tendency towards sourcing guidance from the head and/or the heart, and how we can mindfully bring these into balance, personally and professionally. We will build in time for reflection on a life decision that community members are facing, and hold space for learning from each other’s integration journeys.
About the Series:
Through this series we explore themes around integration of key ideas in a communal space: spirituality AND success, sex AND sacredness, Eastern AND western, Global AND local, Tradition AND Trailblazing, etc. We will do this with an international community of impact-driven people who are values-aligned. Through this platform we will have the chance to elevate wisdom keepers, facilitate cross-cultural connection, and nurture each other with new tools and practices. If you know of others who might find value in being part of this community or network, feel free to let me know.

About the Guest Facilitators
Jasper Mutsaerts is a wearer of many hats. He is a world adventurer, serial entrepreneur, podcast host, manifestation guide and wisdom seeker.
His story depends on whether you take the lens of the mind or the heart...
Mind: He has co-founded 4 ventures (Soul Kitchen, Bohemian Birds, KULA and ScaleHub) that are united by a single purpose: to empower people to live their quest. As a response to COVID-19 he created a campaign to thank healthcare workers that got nominated for “Dutch advertising award of the year” (Gouden Loeki). Jasper has trained and coached hundreds of social entrepreneurs through accelerator programs of ImpactHub, Booking.com, World Wildlife Fund and World Tourism Forum Lucerne. Jasper started his "working life" at McKinsey and graduated from the London School of Economics.
Heart: Jasper has been confronted with adversity early in life. When he was 1 year old he lost his mother and potential brother or sister in a car accident in Tanzania. This experience taught him lessons about the preciousness of life and this gave him an enormous zest for life and a curiosity for the flavors of the intangible. When he was 34 years old he left Amsterdam to go on a world trip and a bit of a healing journey. He went back to Tanzania, lived in a spiritual community in Costa Rica and explored healing modalities such as breathwork, meditation, psychedelics and tantra. He is still nomading and currently based in "Awake Uvita" in Costa Rica.
