About Kate

Kate loves connecting with people, learning about their passions and discovering ways they can collaborate to make their visions a reality. Throughout her career, she has worked with incredible leaders in a variety of industries and roles, including strategic planning, large and small-scale event management, community management, workshop support and facilitation, client relations and communications, customer service, and technology and software implementation. With each opportunity, she demonstrates strengths in co-designing processes and solutions that meet the needs of her clients' business and the communities they serve. 

Kate was trained in Resident-Centered Community Engagement by Concordia, a New Orleans based architecture firm that led the recovery plan for Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina. She is also a Be Well Lead Well Pulse® Certified Guide, enabling her to implement a holistic wellbeing assessment measuring 19 psychometrics of psychological wellbeing, stress resilience, and wellbeing leadership.

 

Current Role

Kate’s primary role is Steward of Programs and Communications for Wisdom Works Group, a social enterprise working with global companies, leaders, and teams to embrace and advance human wellbeing. In this role, Kate designs and executes leadership development programs, training, and assessment development with the purpose of making thriving the new standard of excellence at work. 

Kate has also been supporting the creation of the first-ever high altitude breathwork training program with Recal Travel, and providing strategic advising services for the Roundtable Community Engagement course by Concordia. 

 

How We Met

When I was taking the Transformational Travel Course through the Transformational Travel Council, Kate was a great thought partner as I designed my final project proposal for a Mastermind Concept. I was impressed by her ability to be both a strategic thinker as well as tactical planner.

 

What is Catching Her Attention Recently

Kate is an avid reader and love music, here are a few people/ideas she is currently being inspired by: Lyla June’s incredible song, All Nations Rise (and her TedTalk), Leading by Nature by Giles Hutchinson, Valerie June, Crowded Table by The Highwomen, What’s in the Way is the Way by Mary O’Malley, and when I want to escape, Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros
